| SEASPAR Receives AT&T Grant |
SEASPAR is the recipient of a $14,000 grant from the AT&T Excelerator competitive technology grant program which assists organizations serving diverse ethnic groups, low-income families, people with disabilities, and youth and seniors. The AT&T Excelerator program provides technology access to organizations serving these groups of individuals. SEASPAR is excited to use the grant to introduce a new online tool that will help reach new people who will greatly benefit from what SEASPAR offers. The grant will support the implementation of an online registration system with credit card authorization, which will facilitate an easier way for disabled participants and their families to register for recreation programs. The new online registration program is scheduled to begin in fall, 2008. |

| Horseback Riding Lessons Offered to Children |
SEASPAR is offering horseback riding lessons for children ages 7 - 14. This is for beginners or experienced riders. The rider will develop balance, rhythm, and feel the movement of the horse. Instruction will be individualized to the specific needs of each rider, and is oriented toward developing the rider's understanding of the basic principles of horseback riding. Participants must be ambulatory and able to sit on a horse without a riding partner. Please note: A waiver is sent with the program confirmation and must be returned to SEASPAR by February 4.
