Annual Appeal
At the end of each calendar year, SEASPAR solicits donations for our Annual Appeal. These funds are used to expand offerings, enhance programming, and provide fee assistance to participants in need.
In 2018, the Annual Appeal campaign focused especially on one of our largest programs, our summer day camp. This program is an integral part of many of our young participants’ lives, and SEASPAR absorbs about half the cost of the programming in order to keep fees reasonable for families.
The campaign was kicked off on “Giving Tuesday,” a global day of giving fueled by the power of social media and collaboration. On that one day, more than $2,000 was raised through our Facebook fundraiser alone!
In the weeks that followed, a grand total of $12,000 was donated to SEASPAR. We are very grateful to the following individuals, families, and businesses for supporting our programs and services with their year-end donations.
