SEASPAR has launched the fourth site for our EAGLES Adult Day Program in Lemont, and openings are now available!
The new site is at the Safety Village of Lemont, and is home to the same EAGLES program as our sites in Brookfield, Darien, and Lisle. EAGLES is a community-based program that incorporates therapeutic recreation to help adults ages 18-50 with developmental disabilities to Enhance Adult Growth through Lifestyle Education and Service.
The EAGLES program emphasizes leisure independence, community outings, and social interactions with peers. The group works on making healthy choices, improving independence, and increasing participants’ self-awareness through involvement in community-based recreation activities on a daily basis.
The new Lemont site offers many exciting amenities. It is located in beautiful downtown Lemont along the picturesque I&M Canal. The participants will be able to enjoy all that the local area offers, including hiking along the canal, bowling at the new bowling alley, swimming at the Lemont Park District CORE, and much more.
