All SEASPAR participants and their families are invited to the “Nature Play for All Weekend” at the Children’s Garden in the Morton Arboretum on May 31 and June 1 from 10am to 2pm!
This special event is designed for SEASPAR families to explore, play, and connect with nature through a variety of accessible activities. Join us for a weekend filled with fun and wonder, featuring:
- Pond Exploration: Discover fascinating life in and around the pond.
- Seed Planting: Get hands-on with nature by planting your own seeds.
- Creative Art: Unleash your creativity with nature-inspired art projects.
- Story Time in American Sign Language: Enjoy enchanting stories told in ASL.
- Sensory Hikes: Experience nature’s beauty through guided sensory hikes.
Whether you’re getting your hands dirty in the garden, exploring the pond, or enjoying a quiet story, there’s something for everyone. This weekend is about celebrating nature in a way that is accessible and enjoyable for all!
Note: This opportunity is open to SEASPAR participants, family members, and guests. Please note that participants will not be supervised by SEASPAR staff at this event.
