The power of many can make anything possible.

Discover. Dream. Achieve. SEASPAR

Dear Friend of SEASPAR:

As you can imagine, the year 2020 has been a challenge like none other. The arrival of the COVID-19 pandemic affected our ability to deliver our services, which endangered our mission to provide dynamic recreation programs and quality services for people with disabilities in our twelve-member communities.

Faced with this new dilemma, we set out to overcome its challenges by doing what we do best: adapt. By changing behaviors and adopting new methods, SEASPAR managed to offer services via new outlets, including email, phone, virtual classrooms, and adapted in-person programming. Most of these services were available to participants at little to no cost at all.

As the year comes to a close, SEASPAR continues to absorb decreased revenue and unexpected expenses brought on by the pandemic. We believe that the key to minimizing the consequences of the pandemic is public support!

Below are affected areas in need of your support:

Fee Assistance Program: Countless families are suffering from a loss of revenue due to the pandemic. The Fee Assistance Program ensures participants do not go without our services by providing financial support to families in financial need.

Virtual Programming: SEASPAR’s FREE virtual programming helps provide essential services during stay-at-home orders and is an incredible option for many participants who are not ready or able to participate in in-person programming.

PPE: The right personal protective equipment can save lives. SEASPAR is dedicated to ensuring its participants’ and staff’s safety by investing in proper PPE and other supplies designed to minimize the spread of COVID-19.

Where Help is Needed MOST: An open donation to SEASPAR will ensure ALL affected areas are eligible for your financial support.

While we do not lack resolve, the severity of the pandemic and financial implications insist we once again depend on the generosity of individuals and businesses like you. At this time, we ask that you consider making a year-end gift to SEASPAR. Your donation will aid us in our mission to help participants discover their abilities, achieve their potential, and realize their dreams – despite trying times.

Please click here to make a secure online donation.

You will have the option to donate to the affected area that is most important to you. Your contribution is tax-deductible.

Thank you for your generosity and for your continued support during these difficult times. Our warmest wishes for good health and happiness to you and your loved ones this holiday season from the SEASPAR participants, Board of Directors, and staff.

Sincerely,

Matthew Corso
Executive Director
