Dear Friends of SEASPAR:
The last six months have certainly been a unique time in our history. The COVID-19 pandemic has negatively impacted SEASPAR’s ability to offer live programming and provide the services we typically do. However, our creative staff quickly came together to develop virtual programming in the spring, which was offered to our participants at no cost. This programming continued throughout summer and will remain an offering through the end of the year, with the majority continuing to be free of charge.
We made the decision to offer free programming because we recognize that we serve some of the most vulnerable residents of our communities to the effects of COVID-19, and also to the effects of isolation that has been associated with the pandemic. Our programs have connected our participants with each other, our staff, and even their own families. And even as we move into in-person programming this fall, our free virtual programming remains a critical lifeline for many participants.
Our lack of program revenue has been compounded by our inability to host any live fundraising events this year. Our typical events, such as our concert and golf outing, could not be held. While small virtual fundraisers and generous donations from the community have brought in much-needed funds, we are well below our anticipated fundraising goals for the year.
That is why we are so excited to host our annual Trivia Challenge on Friday, October 16, 2020. We aren’t able to have our usual in-person event, so the fun is going digital! The new virtual Trivia Challenge will retain the energy and entertainment from the live event while opening it up to an even greater audience than our live event venue can accommodate. Would you consider being a sponsor for this year’s event?
Please review this flyer, which provides information about the variety of sponsorship opportunities being offered for your business or organization. We look forward to thanking our sponsors by promoting them in a variety of ways. Don’t miss out on this chance to help SEASPAR and our participants through a difficult time while putting your marketing dollars to work!
Thank you for your time and consideration.
