On October 16, SEASPAR hosted our fourth annual Trivia Challenge fundraiser at Arabian Knights Farms – The Barn in Willowbrook.
Nearly 200 SEASPAR supporters tested their trivia skills at the event, answering questions about pop culture, politics, history, sports, and what product’s catch phrase was, “A little dab’ll do ya.” The winning team correctly answered 69 of 80 questions and took home a $500 prize.
The event raised more than $5,000 to support SEASPAR’s recreational programs and services for individuals with disabilities served by our member entities.
“The Trivia Challenge is a really unique event that brings together our participants, their families, other supporters, and trivia fans from the public for a night that’s not only a lot of fun, but also an important fundraiser for SEASPAR,” said Dan Garvy, President of the SEASPAR Board of Directors and Director of Parks & Recreation for the Lisle Park District. “The generosity of our supporters and sponsors is always remarkable, and we can’t thank them enough for making events like this such great successes.”
